Bring your own AI key

Some plans ask you to bring your own AI provider key. When that applies to your plan, you add your key once and all AI features then run using your own provider account.

Where to add your key

Go to Settings -> AI Providers.

Steps

1. Open Settings -> AI Providers.
2. Choose your provider.
3. Paste in your API key from that provider.
4. Save. We validate the key before storing it.

What happens if a key is required and not set

If your plan requires your own key, AI generation will not run until a valid key is saved. You may be guided to the AI Providers tab to add one before you can continue.

Keeping it working

If your provider key later becomes invalid (for example it is rotated or revoked on the provider's side), AI features pause until you add a working key again. Update it any time from the same tab.
