Keyword density is the percentage of times your target keyword appears in a piece of content relative to the total word count. A density between 0.5% and 2.5% is generally considered healthy for on-page SEO. Below 0.5% and your content may not clearly signal relevance to search engines. Above 2.5% risks looking like keyword stuffing - which Google actively penalises.
